What is video digitizing? 

Video digitizing is the process of converting analog media, such as VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, 8mm film and other older formats, into digital files. This preserves your memories and makes them accessible on modern devices.

Why should I digitize my old videos? 

Over time, analog formats degrade and can become unplayable. Digitizing your videos ensures they’re preserved for future generations and easily sharable with friends and family.

What types of media can you convert?

 We can digitize:

Can you handle damaged or moldy tapes? 

Yes, in many cases, we can repair minor damage or clean moldy tapes before digitizing. However, heavily damaged media may not be recoverable.

Services and Pricing

What file formats will I receive? 

By default, we deliver your digitized videos in MP4 format, which is widely compatible with most devices. If you need a different format, let us know during the order process.

How much does it cost to digitize my tapes? 

Pricing is pretty simple! Most items are $15 each.

Do you offer bulk discounts? 

Yes, we offer discounts for orders of 20 or more items. Contact us for a custom quote.

How do I ensure the safety of my files? 

We recommend making multiple backups of your digital files. Store them on different devices and consider using cloud storage for added security.


Shipping and Handling

How do I ship my tapes to you? 

Shipping is not required if you are in the Twin Cities Area. Drop them off in White Bear Lake or Roseville. (Addresses provided by request)

If you chooose to ship, pack your tapes securely using bubble wrap or padded envelopes to prevent damage during transit. Include your contact information and ship them to our address. We’ll confirm receipt once your package arrives.

Do you offer local drop-off and pick-up? 

Yes, we have a drop-off and pick-up service available by appointment.

Is shipping safe? 

We use USPS by default and have yet to have any issue. We will happily use USPS, FedEx, or UPS at your reqiest. Adding tracking and insurance to your package can provide peace of mind. We are not responsible for any loss or damage at the hands of a carrier.
